Totuus | Truth is a Contemporary Art & Music Magazine based in Helsinki, Finland since 2017. Truth is an independent art magazine and a personal artistic project, too. Truth bends the boundaries of traditional art journalism and uses language of art, language games, music and methods art uses in all the articles, layouts, poems and essays to deepen the dialogue and thinking. The title Taidejulkaisu Totuus | Truth both refers to ontology and philosophy in common and also describes perfectly our opinions on art and music. (They are correct, and best).
Heini Heikkilä is a Master of Arts of literature, art history, writing and dramaturgy, semiotics and theatre sciences at Helsinki University, Finland and currently attends master´s degree programme on Visual Cultures, Curating and Contemporary Art at Aalto University. She has earlier studied also literature and writing at Universitá degli Studi di Milano, Italy. The magazine has been supported by Arts Promotion Centre, Finland.
